Critters and waters
A playful itinerary awakening curiosity about aquatic animals through storytelling and biological materials.

Visiting aquariums, zoos, theme parks, and museums contributes to the development of skills and abilities outlined in the
Brazilian National Common Core Curriculum.
Our spaces provide experiences that connect knowledge with fun, stimulating creativity, new emotions, and care for nature.

At the Oceanic Aquarium, students enjoy experiences that combine knowledge, fun, new emotions, and care for nature.
Our educational programs are designed for each stage of learning, from early childhood education to higher education. Visits cover topics such as biodiversity, sustainability, ecology, evolution, and animal welfare, always adapted to the age group and school curriculum.
More than just observing, here students explore, discover, and understand the importance of environmental preservation, transforming theory into unforgettable experiences.
The Oceanic Aquarium runs the “Drops Make an Ocean” program, welcoming elementary and high schools, universities, and social institutions during the school year. The visits serve both the local community and other cities and states, promoting knowledge about aquatic species and socio-environmental issues, with itineraries tailored to each school level.
Each visit is accompanied by an evaluation, which helps measure the educational results of the program. Aligned with the four pillars of modern aquariums and zoos—conservation, education, research, and leisure—the program seeks to spark reflection and encourage care for oceans, rivers, forests, and the environment as a whole, contributing to the formation of more conscious citizens.
