Thinking about the environment and sustainability, the entire structure of the aquarium was made with metallic materials and thermal panels. The entire aquarium area, including the Extra Sector (a separate property that supports our activities) adds up to 3,500 square meters of built area, with 30 habitats, which totals around one million liters of water!

The Oceanic Aquarium is located in the municipality of Balneário Camboriú in Santa Catarina. It was opened to the public on December 30, 2019 and officially opened on March 12, 2020.

Nutrition is one of the bases that guarantee animal welfare. That's why we have professionals in the areas of Biology and Animal Science evaluating the behavior, anatomy and nutritional requirements of each animal.

The Oceanic Aquarium seeks accessibility for all types of audiences - both in terms of structure (such as elevators, which allow access to all floors), as well as in terms of communication (for example, with information boards in different languages) and attitudinal (with training on accessibility being periodically carried out with the teams, to allow a routine of inclusive practices of reception and reception of the visitor). We also provide two wheelchairs, which can be retrieved free of charge, leaving an identification document at the Ticket Office.
